Vividgrd was established with the vision of being the UK’s leading energy management company for commercial and industrial applications. Following more than a decade working on commercial energy systems, Vividgrd’s founder saw a lack of reliable, efficient and affordable solutions for the majority of the commercial sector.

Just a few weeks after forming the company we won grant funding from Innovate UK, that helped catalyse our iniital hardware development.

We began piloting our technology. Engaging with commercial real estate operators to uncover the real challenges they face in ensuring their site’s energy systems remain efficient, reliable and secure.

We also won a cohort place with the Digital Catapult as part of the UK government’s Digital Security by Design (DSbD) programme. Working with Cambridge University and ARM, to test our application on the highly-secure CHERI technology, approved as a valid approach to securing critical infrastructure applications.
